Results Delivered
- Created 15 literacy centres against the 01 I found in Buikwe Area Programme of which 02 are the centers of excellence (Kikoma store & Kiyagi)
- Establishment of 12 sound ECD centers in all the 12 government aided schools and 02 in the Private schools supported by the AP (Kiyagi Quran & Mpirinvuma)
- Supported the RCFs of Ssugu Parish to acquire 02 sweater making Machines, 01 sewing machine, 02 Bails of Knitting threads for sweaters, 02 big working tables and 02 small tables, built their capacity in making sweaters as an IGA (income generating activity) this has enhanced their income levels
- Supported in creation of the MASSUKI (Malongwe, Ssugu and Kitazi) parishes network of all the (160) active teachers of Buikwe AP these teachers innovate and share their local ideas, approaches and methods of teaching and children learn with fun
- Facilitated the creation of the Buikwe AP head teachers and SMC association which has strengthened their relationships and improved their monitoring skills
- I successfully managed the budget of 1000,000USD=3,766,328,000UGX Buikwe Area Programme under its Education budget in 4 years
- established kitchen gardens in o6 schools (Kasubi, Matale, Nkoyoyo, Makonge, Ssugu Umea and Nakatyaba) Primary Schools respectively
- Spearheaded the formation of school family clubs in all the 16 schools and grouped pupils and teachers as group parents and this has created good interpersonal skills among Children
- Integrated sponsorship into education through training of 270 RC in making reusable sanitary towels and other girls supporting with materials thus reduction in dropouts
- Integrated household engagement and accountability approach (HEAA) in to education through selection and training of 142 Education sector promoters(ToTs in Education) in Unlock literacy model
- Supported 15 literacy centers with 15 metallic boxes as book banks to improve the custody and safety of books
- Liaised with centre coordinating tutor (CCT) in creating print rich classrooms in schools through material creation promoting incidental learning
- Being a cluster Citizen Voice and Action (CVA) database focal person, I trained the CVA working teams of other Area programmes in data entry improved our CVA database
- Supported 16 schools in the AP with 208 talking compounds with child protection messages (13 per school)
- Facilitated the District Education Office to support the 16 schools in developing school improvement plans this has supported the implementation of school based projects
- I coordinated the orientation of all the school management committees (SMCs) in the district in their roles in partnership with the office of the district Chairperson, RDC and Police leading to improved monitoring of schools
- Trained 48early childhood development (ECD) caregivers &supported them with updated ECD learning Framework that they ably interpret and incorporate into learning roots
- Trained 48 lower primary teachers in letter sounds (early grade reading) and teachers can now interpretation the curriculum and incorporate it with the contents of Unlock Literacy
- Supported the household Education sector promoters in storytelling and writing and identified 05 community artists to draw pictures in the literacy centers and this has made the centers attractive learning places for children
- Partnered with Buganda language board members to translate stories from English to Luganda for literacy centers to enhance thematic curriculum which is appropriate for children
- Trained and nurtured teachers in positive discipline till Nakatyaba Primary School emerged as a center of excellence in the district for positive discipline together with the CCT
- Nurtured and mentored(08)trainers of trainees (ToTs) of Unlock literacy and learning roots to become champions in coaching and mentoring teachers of lower primary and ECD caregivers.
- Partnered with UNEB facilitators and trained and mentored 64 subject master teachers in all the 16 schools and these teachers ably supported other teachers in curriculum interpretation and adaptation this has simplified teaching
- I identified, trained and nurtured 75 community volunteers who are now ably supporting in community action in literacy with the support of the Community development Officer (CDO) and CCT
- Partnered with Enjuba (Spelling Bee) Organization to improve the literacy of the p.6 pupils through spelling and Children learnt, although very few qualified, the rest had an exposure that made them determined.
- There has been routine school support supervision because of good teamwork created because of effective communication and timely facilitation to the District Education Officials
- Trained head teachers in management skills and this has resulted in good management of school funds, their ability to carry out internal supervision and teachers’ purposeful presence at school to attend to children
- Together with the technical programme Officer (TPO) Education we successful took the District Education stakeholders to Gulu parabong for bench marking and many lessons were learnt especially fund raising for schools by the SMC

- I facilitated the establishment and the formation of Kamuda Sub County Child Protection Coalition
- As a team, under my management as staff in charge Sponsorship, we became the best implementers of community engagement and Sponsorship Engagement project activities in Soroti cluster in 2016
- Supported Kamuda Joint Prayer Organization (KAJOCPO) with logistics during fasting and prayer initiatives for deliverance in Kamuda Sub County.
- I facilitated the formation of Kamuda Child Focus Organization (KCFO) which now is the community based Organization
- Supported in assessment of Community Based Organization using Organizational self-assessment and facilitated Organizational Capacity building of 04 CBOs that collaborated with ADP in designing, implementation and monitoring of Project interventions.

- I collaborated with Tubur Local Government to restore two plots of land for two Orphaned Registered Children(Acilo Josephine & Emalu Joseph) that was grabbed by their grandfather
- Monitored 800 Registered Children (RC) wellbeing according to the set standards
- Filing of 800 RC information and organizing filing cabins
- Participated in and during community reflection and engagement meetings
