The Uganda Great50 Companies/Economic Stakeholders to be recognized with a Uganda Economic Development Mark of Excellence
With Government as well as development partners and private sector working towards attainment of Uganda Vision 2040 and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, Public Opinions is conducting a survey to determine “The Uganda Great50 Companies also known as the Uganda Economic Stakeholders” which are committed or have contributed a lot towards attainment of Uganda Vision 2040 and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals through;

- Employing Ugandans
- Respect for Rights of workers
- Supporting productive corporate Social Responsibility
- Paying taxes
- Environmental protection
- Employing Youth and Women
Only companies with proof of the above can make it to the list of the Uganda Great50 Companies and to be recognized and certified with the Uganda Economic Development Mark of Excellence certification.
On 31st March 2021, the Economic Development Mark of Excellence certification was issued to Dr Patrick Bitature, Dr Kin Kariisa CEO Next Media, Gen Salim Saleh Akandwanaho Chief Coordinator Operations wealth Creation (OWC), National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC), Prof Emmanuel Tumusiime Mutebile Governor Bank of Uganda, etc. The ceremony was attended by The Italian Ambassador to Uganda HE. Massimiliano Manzati as the guest of honor, Chairman Simba group of companies Dr Patrick Bitature among other dignatories.On the same occasion, 20 Most influential and admired Media personalities were recognized with the Uganda Economic Responsible Investment Mark of Excellence in appreciation of their contribution to the social-economic development of Uganda. The Profiles of the Uganda Great50 Companies/Organizations will be published in the “Uganda Great50 Economic Stakeholders Book of Records”
On 22nd November 2019 at Imperial Royale Hotel Kampala, H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni President of Uganda was hosted by Public Opinions and he launched the Uganda Economic Development Companies Book of Records and a poster.
The issuance of the Uganda Economic Development MARK OF Excellence and publishing of the Great50 Companies Book of Records will inspire more companies to work promote and uphold international best practices and conventions.
Corporate Logos and Brief Profiles of the Great50 Companies/Organisations will be published in the Uganda Great50 Economic Stakeholders Book of Records to be distributed to CEOs, members of Parliament, Ministers, Security Chiefs, Heads of State Enterprises, Statutory Authorities, Diplomatic Missions in Uganda, Uganda’s Diplomatic Missions abroad, NGOs, Youth and women Leaders, Chief Administrative Officers, etc.
Corporate Logos of the Uganda Great50 Companies be published on the Uganda Great50 Companies Poster in which over 200,000 posters will be printed and distributed to Retail shops, in places of worships, schools,bars and restaurants, police stations, Local Government leaders,etc.
Corporate profiles and logos of the Uganda Great50 Economic Stakeholders will be published on the website of Uganda Great50 Economic Stakeholders.
Our Business is to promote Public Private Sector Partnership as well as promoting responsible Investment in Uganda and encourage Public and Private Agencies to commit themselves to attainment of Uganda Vision 2040 and the UN SDGs hence economic Development of Uganda. We advocate for Regular interactions of the President and Economic Stakeholders through the Strategic Economic Stakeholders Roundtable.

On 22nd November 2019 Public Opinions recognised Top 60 Best Performing companies and government agencies committed to attainment of Uganda Vision 2040 and the United Nations Sustainable Development.
H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni President of the Republic of Uganda was the Guest of honour at the high level Uganda Responsible Investment Summit and Award Ceremony which was held on Imperial Royale Hotel.
At the summit, H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni was declared the Uganda Peace and Development Champion in appreciation for ensuring total peace and stability in all parts of Uganda.
